Easter Egg Hunt Anyone??

We had an Easter egg hunt in our backyard with the cousins. My Mom thought it was a great way for everyone to have equal amount of eggs by having everyone find there specific color. Sounds like a good plan..right? Well they were mixed variety of eggs that she bought already filled but each specific color had the same kind of candy. So when I went through the kids eggs I noticed that we only had hershey kisses & malt balls (not my favorite) Oh well. Maybe I won't gain so much weight eating all their chocolate this year! HAHAHAHAHAHA

Bounce U

We went to a birthday party for Alex & Nick at Bounce U. If you have never been there..you have to go. It is so much fun and so many things to bounce on, throw around and just act like a kid, like the kiddos do.

Horseback Riding

We went to one of Brian's longtime friend's house and she has horses. The kids were so excited to ride them and Boston was not even afraid. The horse was so sweet and kind to the kids and let all of them ride him for hours. Grandpa & Grampie....the kids need a horse :o) ?!?!

What a horrible week!

I usually just put pictures on my blog but this week is one to write down and maybe try to forget. Okay, it all started on Thursday. We were out of the house from 11-1pm and during that time we got burglarized. Luckily, my neighbor caught them so they took off in their white truck with tinted windows (hint, hint) but unfortunately she didn't call the police...what is up with that? Oh well, at least they only took the TV, guns, camera, our watches and my diamond earrings. I guess it could of been much much worse. Then on Friday I was doing the laundry and didn't notice a red crayon that snuck into the dryer with all the jeans...yup...red all over the dryer and all over the jeans. I sat down and just cried!!! It took me 4 washes and many different detergents to get it all out. Hurray....nothing worse could go wrong, right??? WRONG...Sunday, during sacrament meeting, which was Ward Conference, Boston threw up all over us, all over the chair, hymn book, my bag etc. etc. etc. I couldn't get him out of the room fast enough. Luckily we were in the back and on the basketball court and many friends came to the rescue to clean it up...yuk! What a week to forget or remember..I guess someday I will look back at things and laugh...but not today!

Boston's 3rd Birthday

Boston turned 3 this Saturday and we went to McCormick Train Park in Scottsdale for his birthday party. The kids had fun and so did all the adults. We played games, rode the merry-go-round, and of course rode the train. It was by far the most easiest birthday party ever and one of the cheapest (if you can believe it). Thank you Kimi for the taking the pictures since we forgot our cameras.

Hawaii & the Sony Open

We went to Hawaii a few weeks ago to visit Great Grandpa & Grandma. They just bought a new house on the golf course where the Sony Open takes place. Brian was in heaven to be so close to professionals. It was awesome (he would say)! While we were there, Elizabeth got the chance to interact with some dolphins. She had sooo much fun. She was also allowed to pet a stingray...Mom was a little nervous about that.

The kids went up to Heber to see their Grandparents and to see Santa.

We saw Santa again on the Verde Canyon Railroad Train.
We had a lot of fun riding the train and listening to Santa tell stories.

We saw Santa again with some cousins. We finally got everyone looking in the same direction (Elizabeth, Boston, cousin Colton & cousin Jake)

The Butterflies are Free!!

We set them all free. I did not want to
be responsible for the death of 5 butterflies. Elizabeth understood that they needed to be free but she was still sad. When she goes outside she tries to look for them.

We Have Butterflies!!

For Elizabeth's birthday she received this cage and a certificate to get some caterpillars that will later turn into butterflies. But since it was sooo hot in July we had to wait to receive the caterpillars in the mail. So.....now we did have caterpillars that ate & ate & ate until they got really big (in about a week) and turned into cocoons and now we have butterflies (5 to be exact). You can see in the pic a butterfly wing towards the back and two cocoons hanging from the piece of paper. It was a thrilling experience. We might have to do it again.

The kids went trick-0-treating with their cousin CoCo (Colton) who was Darth Vader.
Elizabeth said "this was the best Halloween ever." We actually went around the whole neighborhood instead of just going to the few houses nearby.

Elizabeth is Pocahontas
and Boston is the UPS Guy!!!!!

Elizabeth had a piano recital that she had to
wear her costume to the night before halloween and Boston was so excited that he had to wear his too!!!

Elizabeth is not too happy about the way her pumpkin looks
