The Butterflies are Free!!

We set them all free. I did not want to
be responsible for the death of 5 butterflies. Elizabeth understood that they needed to be free but she was still sad. When she goes outside she tries to look for them.

We Have Butterflies!!

For Elizabeth's birthday she received this cage and a certificate to get some caterpillars that will later turn into butterflies. But since it was sooo hot in July we had to wait to receive the caterpillars in the mail. So.....now we did have caterpillars that ate & ate & ate until they got really big (in about a week) and turned into cocoons and now we have butterflies (5 to be exact). You can see in the pic a butterfly wing towards the back and two cocoons hanging from the piece of paper. It was a thrilling experience. We might have to do it again.

Boston's Playgroup

Boston loves his playgroup and playing with his friends: Logan, Chase & Tommy. Today they played outside and made fingerpaint pumpkins.

Elizabeth's Piano Recital

Elizabeth's fall piano recital. We hope you like it. We are sure proud of her.

HALLOWEEN!!!!

The kids went trick-0-treating with their cousin CoCo (Colton) who was Darth Vader.
Elizabeth said "this was the best Halloween ever." We actually went around the whole neighborhood instead of just going to the few houses nearby.

Elizabeth had a piano recital that she had to
wear her costume to the night before halloween and Boston was so excited that he had to wear his too!!!

1st Day Of School!!!!

Elizabeth is in the 1st grade this year!!!!!

She is soooo excited!!!!!

She also is riding the bus this year too. The bus stop is right in front of our house.

More Alaska!!!

The boys went fishing in Ketchikan but they did not get anything but it was still fun!!!

But Glenn got one!!! Don't ask what it cost to have it sent back to Hawaii!!!

This was a 16 pound King Salmon!!!

The kids were even brave enough to go swimming when it was like 50 degrees outside.

The lifeguard has a SKI PARKA on!!!

The slide was really fun and the pool was heated!!!

We want to wish a HUGE MAHALO to Grandma and Grandpa Fong. We had a wonderful time and we will cherish this trip forever!!!

Alaska!!!!

We cruised the Inside Passage in Alaska in June for 7 days!!!! We had sooo much fun. We wnet with Susan's family. There were a total of 32 of us on the trip!!!! Elizabeth and Boston had so much fun with their cousins and Aunties and Uncles.

We spent a day in Seattle before the boat left. We went to Pike's Fish Market.









This was a scary looking
fish, Boston wouldn't go near it but Elizabeth was a trooper!!!!

We had a nice cozy little room which fit the 4 of us perfectly!!!

They had no problem sleeping!

The boat had activities for the kids. This was at the end of one of their activities. It was Blue's Clues day!!!

We went on a train ride in Skagway and saw a BEAR!!!!

Kindergarten Graduation!!!

Elizabeth gradudated from Kindergarten this year!!! We are so proud of her!!! She is now a proud 1st grader at Franklin West!!!!

Brian took the kids to see his parents in Heber and left poor Susan all alone!!!

We LOVE Disneyland!

We were planning on spending this day at Disneyland but as you can see it was pouring rain. So we decided to go the next day and drive home late that night.

All I can tell you.......

It was a very, very LONG day but worth every minute.

We love having breakfast at Goofy's Kitchen.

They have everything you ever wanted and more.

I love the desserts...for breakfast...of course!

Wow!

Boston actually went right up to Pooh and gave him a big hug.

I thought for sure it was going to be another Santa episode.

SANTA!!!

Santa this year was

not fun for Boston.

We tried two times and

both were unsuccessful.

Maybe next year

he will enjoy it.

Heber, AZ Visiting Family

The kids had so much fun

Family Pictures

This day was the Saturday it rained all day long and cleared up just in time to take family pictures. Great, right? Wrong...it was FREEZING!!! It took 2 hours to get a family pictures of all of us together.

We tried to put our best faces forward except Boston, just look at his cold, rosy cheeks. Poor kid.
